Student Program (Plant Sale Patrons)
Become a Patron of the Spring Plant Sale to support UDBG's Student Program. Summer, School-year, and Year-long interns and a Masters program in Plant Curation student help maintain, develop, and interpret the plant collection and gardens. They gain practical experience and training that complements classroom learning. Financial support of this program is dependent upon the generosity of Plant Sale Patrons and is above and beyond your Membership. Gifts of $185 and above are invited to a special reception at the Spring Plant Sale, where they have the first opportunity to shop. All Patrons are listed in the Plant Sale Catalog if received prior to January 15.
Gift in Memory or Honor
Give a gift to honor someone or to celebrate a major life event. To dedicate a bench is $5,000.00, which pays for the bench, site pad, installation, and memorial plaque. A portion of the cost is placed into an endowment for maintenance and repairs.
Check to see if your employer will match your gift to UDBG.
Gifts in Kind
UDBG accepts gifts-in-kind, such as services or equipment, when they fulfill the needs and mission of the organization.
All of the above gifts qualify as charitable contributions, and as such are deductible as prescribed by Federal and State tax laws. For further information, please contact Assistant Director Melinda Zoehrer 302-831-0153 email email@example.com or
