New Membership Benefits and Rates as of January 1, 2009

Beginning January 2009, all members will receive an offical UDBG membership card that entitles them to the following additional benefits. For a complete list of membership benefits, visit the UDBG Friends page.

• Continued free admission to the Spring and Fall Plant Sale Preview Lectures
  
  
• Exclusive rights to place preorders for the Spring Plant Sale (now a members-only benefit)
  
  
• Free admission and/or discounts to programs and gift shops at public gardens across the nation that belong to the American Horticultural Society Reciprocal Admissions Program. For details about this program and to obtain the most updates list of participating gardens and benefits, visit the AHS website.

To offer these increased benefits as well accommodate the rising costs of public garden operations, membership dues will also increase in the new year. Beginning January 1, dues will be $40 for Individual Memberships and $60 for Family Memberships.

Contributions by UDBG Friends members are essential for supporting the gardens as a horticultural and educational resource for students, faculty, researchers, and the public within the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Delaware. Thank you for your continuing support.
