Spring and Fall Plant Sales
Plant sales are held at the University of Delaware Botanic Gardens in April and September. Many of the plants offered for sale can be seen growing at the UD Botanic Gardens. ART IN THE GARDEN
Sponsored by the UDBG Friends and the University of Delaware Art Department sculpture students, the May event offers art students an opportunity to showcase their creative work in an outdoor landscape setting.
Delaware Horticulture IndustRy Expo
An educational meeting designed to provide up-to-date training for the nursery and landscape industry, with exhibitors who display plants and plant-related products.
Ornamentals Research Expo
Sponsored by the Delaware Cooperative Extension and the University of Delaware Botanic Gardens in September. The Expo features displays and talks on subjects ranging from pest disease identification to natural pest control, to restoring biodiversity in suburbia to plants for a more livable Delaware. In addition, this event distributes new plant material to the trade.
