All students must enroll in 7 credits .

ANSC261 - Principles of Companion Animal Nutrition (3 cr.)
A broad overview of the principles of nutrition as they are applied to companion animals with an emphasis on canine and feline nutrition. On study abroad, the course will include working dogs in New Zealand. Non-majors are welcome.
Satisfies the following requirements:
Arts & Sciences Group D
      Meets “ag” group requirement for other majors in College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

ANSC419 - Topics in International Agriculture: Pastoral Livestock Production in New Zealand (4 cr.)
An overview of one the most efficient pasture based production systems in the world with lectures and visits to sheep beef cattle, dairy cattle and horse farms. Non-majors are welcome.
Satisfies the following requirements:
      Meets the “ production” course requirement for ANSC majors and “ag” group requirement for other majors in College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
