Community Outreach & Summer Camps

Community events provide information on how individuals and neighborhood associations can integrate sustainable management practices that protect water quality and preserve ecosystems in their own communities. Workshops are offered for the public, community groups, the farming community, the “green industry” and K-12 teachers and students from nearby schools.

Environmental education summer day camps are conducted with the cooperation and support of Delaware 4-H. Youth participating in these camps engage in a wide variety of activities related to soil and water quality, ecosystems and wildlife ecology, and the basics of agriculture.
