Scholarship Information

For Incoming Students

If you have submitted your University of Delaware Admissions application (Parts I & II) by December 1st, you automatically will be considered for academic, merit-based scholarships. For need-based aid, be sure to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after January 1st. The University will include your scholarship and financial aid package with your admission letter.

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources has a generous endowment fund that allows us to support academically gifted students.  All students who are admitted to the College will be reviewed for support in early March.

For Current Students

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources works closely with the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid to support our students.   Students should make an appointment with the OSFA to discuss financial support opportunities.  It is also recommended that you complete a FAFSA each year, as many awards required filing of the form.

Donald F. Crossan Agricultural Alumni Scholarship

The Donald F. Crossan Agricultural Alumni Scholarship is awarded to a current Sophomore or Junior majoring in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources on the basis of academic merit and an interest in agriculture. Preference is given to students with financial need. Winners must attend the Ag Social (with complimentary dinner) to be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at the The Baycenter, Dewey Beach, DE to receive their award.

The application deadline is February 29, 2008.
