Area of Responsibility

• Conduct applied research to design effective disease management strategies for commercial vegetable crops.
• Conduct epidemiological research on pathogens of vegetable crops
• Examine the impact of vegetable production and disease management on vegetable pathogen populations.
• Develop and disseminate disease control recommendations and other technical information on vegetable crop plant pathology.
• Support extension specialists and county extension educators in delivering disease management information.
