The world is a complicated place. Human beings share the earth with each other, creatures great and small, including wildlife, domesticated pets and a vast number of insects, some beneficial and some not! In addtition to the creatures we can see, are those in the virus and bacteria realm that have a profound impact on the quality of human life.

Delaware Cooperative Extension, through its Health and Emerging Issues outreach seeks to share the latest university-based research with the public. Extension also seeks to provide information that will prepare people for situations caused by natural disasters and other emergencies. We offer programs that ehance lifestyles and by offering a variety of resources, promote productive aging in all populations.
