The University of Delaware Institute of Public Administration and Delaware Cooperative Extension are helping to spread awareness about the Delaware Internet Project- an initiative to collect information about Internet usage and availability in the state of Delaware - particularly in southern Delaware where rural areas may not have the same broadband access as higher populated areas.

The State of Delaware was awarded funds and the test is administered by the Delaware Department of Technology and Information. For more information about the Delaware Broadband project visit: http://broadband.delaware.gov

The test is free, quick and easy. You will learn your IP address, and what your current download and upload speeds are. Your connection speed can vary throught the day or evening, therefore we recommend that you take the test often, and at diiferent times. This information is advantageous to know.

Data from the speed test is reported anonmyously. The first time you take the speed test, you will be prompted to take an additional Broadband Survey - this survey is optional, but very helpful in our ability to produce an accurate portrait of Delaware Broadband. Any or all fields in the survery are optional.

Thank you for your cooperation!
