About our 4-H Gallery
Sussex County 4-H now uses Flickr, as its repository for all 4-H event images.
There are several ways you can view and use the 4-H photos you find on Flickr.
You can visit the main Sussex 4-H Photostream site . As of October, 2009 we had more than 3,900 4-H images, an even larger presence on the Web than National 4-H Flickr site! . Wow! You can also view images as part of a set, usually named after an event. But you can also view images by "tags" which collects similarly tagged photos regardless of date or sets the images are in. For example, under the tag "4-H Staff" you might find pictures of Mary Argo wherever she or "staff" was tagged. The TAG page looks like this:

How do you download images from Flickr? It's easy. Go to the photostream or set and double-click the image. You might see something like this:

Above any picture you select, you will see a bar of options such as those below. In the middle is a magnifying glass with a plus (+) sign. Open that option.
You will then have the option to directly download the image in its original resolution (usually very high) or other file size options. The bigger the file size, the higher the quality. There is no cost to download images. Save to the location of your choice on your computer or external storage device. If you use this picture in an arena where others may see it, it is a good idea to source where the photo came from: Source: flickr.com/photos/sussexcounty4h or Source: Sussex County 4-H Flickr gallery - or something to that effect.
Can I see the images in a slide show? Yes! In photostream or set mode, look for the slidshow icon (usally top right) and click on the slideshow screen icon. (see below). You may also share your images on the Web, and in social online networking sites.
