Goals: Continue to gain lab experience, eventually pursuing a career as a Plant Biotech Researcher for Industry or a College professorship.

Why did you choose Delaware?  I feel that I am able to connect with the professors on a one on one basis. In addition, the college has many undergraduate research opportunities and is eager to help students who want to really become actively involved in real world experiences pertaining to their major. The location and size of the college were also factors in my selection. Delaware is nestled in a nice suburban setting and isn't too large for my comfort.

What do you like about your experience so far? The ability to partake in actual current research pertaining to my major, rather than merely performing "canned" experiments. Also, the professors and students have been very welcoming.
