My current career goal is to use both computers and engineering in some way. For example, I would like to design the sensors that read data and then write software that does everything from handling internal calculations to automatically sending the data to a specific place.
I chose Delaware because it is an in-state school and relatively inexpensive. Looking back, if I could have chosen any school, regardless of expense, Delaware would have been my first choice. The number and quality of friendships that I have made here, I wouldn't trade for anything.
My college career has had its ups and downs like all things, but I feel that I've grown so much since I first started. From an educational standpoint, I've taken many classes at the university, and I feel that I have learned more than just numbers and words. From a social standpoint, I made stronger friendships in my first weeks as a freshman than in my whole life. From a real-world standpoint, I've applied what I've learned in classes and built upon it to create a good foundation for my future.
