Why I chose UD:  I chose UD primarily because of the program at the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The animal science major is strong and hands-on oriented which was important to me. I liked how involved the classes allowed the students to become, between the lectures and labs. I first learned about the school through a friend who was also pursuing a similar career path. When I visited the UD campus I made my decision. The campus was gorgeous (despite it being a cloudy, windy, very cold February tour), and everyone was very friendly and helpful. A perfect blend of academia and real-life involvement at the University was what I was looking for. As a result of my decision to attend UD the College of Agriculture has opened up a variety of opportunities to me. I couldn't be happier at the University of Delaware .
