Part
III. Plant Selection (30 points).
A customer comes into your garden center and asks for your recommendation
for plants to put into his garden. Her
garden is 5' x 12' and sited in full sun. He
wants to maximize the ornamental display starting in early April and continuing
through late October. He will
replant half of the garden in early June and again in late August. Further, he
wants at least one tall plant in the back of the garden to be at least 4' tall.
Please list ten plants for each season (spring, summer, fall).
Plants may carry over from one season to the next or be replaced as
necessary. The summer color scheme
must be red, orange and yellow. Numbers
1-4 are plants in the front third of the garden, 5-7 are in the middle and 8-10
are in the back of the garden.
