- I
really enjoyed the workshop; the experiments
were fun.
- Hands
on labs were very beneficial. Tour of labs could be reduced to one to
provide more time for hands on activities or demonstrations relating to food
science. A lab or activity on taste training would have been fun and
informative.
- Great
workshop! Only waste of time was panelists who spoke after lunch
– they spent too much time discussing their own personal history –
should just talk about their company or industry.

- Perhaps
room arrangement in the Commons with a back drop behind the panelist would
have improved the acoustics – I thought about arranging the poster display
in a semi circle with the table inside to help keep the speakers’ voices
directed outward. Room like the Commons are great spaces except for
listening!

rate – great lab supplies and handouts, plenty of food. I
will be using these labs during the 2001-2002 school year.

Staff was available and helpful! Very nicely presented! I enjoyed the entire

fantastic job! The day was packed with activities, but the schedule was
adhered to and no time was wasted!
Suggestions: increase your mailings! I only got my notice because it was
accidentally stuck in my mailbox at school. Send them addressed to Chemistry
teacher, etc., Name of school. You could send them to middle schools also. I
especially enjoyed the conversations I had with Dr. Catherine Davies and
with the various graduate students who helped out! Wonderful day! Thank you.

full day is good. Stay as practical as possible.

teachers, students, staff and guests were wonderful, knowledgeable, and
interesting.
