The University of Delaware's Department of Food and Resource Economics offers four graduate programs for advanced study of the business and social issues of agricultural and natural resources:
Masters of Science (M.S.) in Agricultural Economics
- Thesis option: 24 credit hours of coursework plus 6 credit hours of thesis.
- Non-thesis option: 27 credit hours plus 3 credits of a directed project
Masters of Science (M.S.) in Operations Research/Agricultural Economics
- Thesis option: 27 credit hours, including 6 credit hours of thesis
- Non-thesis option:
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Operations Research/Agricultural Economics
- Minimum 51 credit hours, including 9 credit hours of dissertation.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics/Agricultural Economics
- This is a special program in conjunction with the Department of Economics
- It requires 7 additional approved graduate courses beyond the master's degree.
