Clauses and Non-Discrimination Statements

All printed material distributed by Cooperative Extension must contain a statement of non-discrimination which notifies the reader that programs are available to all persons without regard to race, sex, religion, age, color, creed, national or ethnic origin; physical, mental or sensory disability; marital status, sexual orientation, or status as a Vietnam-era or disabled veteran. You may clip and paste the following as needed:

Special needs:

You MUST add one of the clauses belowin any materials that involve public registration. It can be added to the above clause or appear separately. According to our Civil Rights Officer, two-three weeks prior notification by the public is reasonable to allow UD to arrange special needs resources.

All brochures and informational flyers promoting programs will provide accessibility instructions for people with special needs. All reasonable efforts will be implemented to meet the accessibility requests. Sample language to be used in marketing materials:
