If you are certified by the Delaware Nutrient Management Program you will need to attend programs that offer continuing education units to maintain your certification. The number of continuing education units that you need depends on your level of certification.
Nutrient Generators must attend 6 hours of continuing education before their certification expires (every three years). Private Nutrient Handlers must attend 6 hours of continuing education before their certification expires (every three years). Commercial Nutrient Handlers must attend 6 hours of continuing education before their certification expires (every three years). Nutrient Consultants must attend 5 hours of continuing education every year.

How can you find out if your program or activity will qualify for Continuing Education Units?
Please attach a timed and detailed agenda with a completed application form (included on this website) at least 10 business days prior to the start of the program. You will be notified by mail or email how many continuing education units have been awarded to your program once your application has been reviewed.
