NOTE:

(1) Moth catches of 9 to 15 moths per 7-day period have been associated with a moderate to high potential for cutworm outbreaks in field corn.

(2) Moth catches of 5 per night for at least 2 consecutive nights have also indicated a high potential for problems in field corn.

(3) You can expect to see cutting activity in field corn around 300 degree-days, base of 50 degree F from peak moth activity.
