The Federal Cooperative Extension, which administers the National 4-H Club program, invites and appreciates the cooperation of all organizations, agencies, and individuals whose interest, products, or services will contribute to the educational effort of the Cooperative Extension as conducted through the 4-H Club program. When a new 4-H club forms, the volunteer leader is given authorization to use the 4-H name and emblem.
Any use of the 4-H Club name and emblem is forbidden if it exploits the 4-H program, its volunteer leaders or 4-H youth participants, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Cooperative Extension, or land-grant institutions or their employees.
The 4-H club name and emblem shall not be used to imply endorsement of commercial firms, products, or services.
The Using the 4-H Name & Emblem guide is a quick reference handout that discusses many of the important guidelines about appropriate and legal use of the 4-H name & emblem. (PDF)
