10:45 - 11:30 a.m. Tater Patch  
A folk music group that includes CANR's own Dr. Judy Hough-Goldstein, professor in CANR's Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology
11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.  Welcome to Ag Day and help us sing Happy Birthday to the UDairy Creamery!
12:15 - 1 p.m. The Hook        
A modern and alternative rock group whose band members include Dr. Greg Shriver and Vince D'Amico of  CANR's Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology
1:15 - 2 p.m. Dodging Cupid
A classic rock and roll band from the Delaware Valley, featuring Dr. Tom Ilvento, professor in CANR's Department of Food and Resource Economics
2:15-3 p.m. The Common Room       
A student band with reggae, rock and acoustic styles
3:15-4 p.m. Toothpick
A local folk, bluegrass/newgrass band

Animal Training 101
(Lawn of Fischer Greenhouse)  
Join us for an informative session and learn concepts in behavior and training.  Birds will demonstrate how desired behaviors can be solicited and maintained using positive reinforcement based training method.  Learn how training concepts can be applied to your own pet cat, dog or pig at home. Program provided by Animal Behavior and Conservation Connections.

Did you know that farm animals sometimes compete in shows just like dogs and cats do?  Come see how a dairy calf is shown in a dairy cow show by an experienced showman.
   
Seeing Eye Dog Demonstration by Puppy Raisers of UD (PRoUD) (in front of the Dog Tent)

Rain Barrel Demonstration (Next to Master Gardeners Plant Sale)
Carrie Murphy, Ornamental Horticulture agent for UD Cooperative Extension, will talk about how to set up a rain barrel and talk about why it can be a great addition to your home landscape.

Happy Birthday UDairy Creamery (UDairy Creamery)
Please turn your attention to the front lawn of the UDairy Creamery as Robin Morgan, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, welcomes everyone to Ag Day.  Join YoUDee and Baby Blue as we sing Happy Birthday to the UDairy Creamery, celebrating one year of operations at the store.  Listen for a new flavor announcement and other new things coming from the UDairy Creamery!

Taste Testing with the Food Science Capstone Class (rear steps of Townsend Hall)
Food Science seniors must develop a food product as part of their senior food science course at UD.  Come taste test the products developed by future food scientists in this year’s class!

2 p.m. 

Free-flight bird show (lawn of Fischer Greenhouse)
Experience a unique show with live hawks and falcons soaring inches over your head.  You will learn about other birds like owls and vultures and how their special adaptations has resulted in unique survival behaviors.   Be entertained by colorful macaws and sun conures as they flitter and chatter among themselves and our audience.  Program provided by Animal Behavior & Conservation Connections.
