AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT THE COLLEGE OF AG & NR THAT I RECENTLY LEARNED: The college of Agriculture and Natural Resources has 16 of it's own registered student organizations.

Best Thing To Do At Ag Day: Standing in line for UD ice cream for what feels like an eternity, finally getting your ice cream and realizing it was totally worth it, and getting back in line!

An Interesting Fact About The College of Ag & NR That I Recently Learned: The bus drivers of the South Campus route learn who Ag students are and help them out a lot! It's awesome and greatly appreciated!

the insects in their terraniums (boxelder bugs like to escape). My hand was very tired at the end of the day from face painting bugs on little kids faces!

THE BEST THING TO DO AT AG DAY IS: Prove to your friends that we DO have cows on campus!

AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT THE COLLEGE OF AG & NR THAT I RECENTLY LEARNED: Dr. Ilvento recently taught the Ag Ambassadors that "statistics is sexy". He may have been taking the quote from Google's chief economist, but we'll still give him some credit for that tidbit, plus I learned that there are 4 minors within the Food and Resource Economics department.

AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT THE COLLEGE OF AG & NR THAT I RECENTLY LEARNED: The CANR is going to be selling another round of blankets made of the wool from our flock of sheep sometime during the spring of 2011, maybe even at Ag Day!

THE BEST THING TO DO AT AG DAY IS: Listening to the band play while eating a pulled pork sandwich! And of course, eating the UDairy ice cream.

AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT THE COLLEGE OF AG & NR THAT I RECENTLY LEARNED: A Lepidoptera Trail that provides an ecosystem for butterflies, moths and skippers has been recently created. It acts like an outdoor laboratory, and can be used for entomology classes and more.

The best thing to do at Ag Day is sit back relax and enjoy the fun entertainment and yummy food and great people.

An interesting fact that I have recently learned about CANR is that we are getting a new ecology major. They always add the good things when you are about to graduate.

THE BEST THING TO DO AT AG DAY IS: To walk around and talk to all the exhibitors. I love the fact that there’s always something new we can learn each and every day.

AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT THE COLLEGE OF AG & NR THAT I RECENTLY LEARNED: The College has been partnered up with St. Andrew’s School in Middletown, Delaware since 2005 working on ways to enhance the agricultural landscape and natural ecosystems of their campus.
