Distribution: Southern California and Arizona; Mexico (Baja California, Baja California Sur, Gulf of California)

Note: Euthiscia crockeri Van Duzee, 1937 (Galapagos - Santa Cruz (Indefatigable) Island) was transferred to Philatis Stål, 1862 by Fennah 1967: 85); .
Economic Importance: Limited; species are uncommonly encountered.
Known host plants:
Aloysia wrightii (A. Gray) A. Heller (as Lippia wrightii A. Gray; Wright's beebrush, Verbenaceae).
Hosts from Ball 1935; Wilson et al. (1994); plant names from USDA PLANTS or Tropicos.
Recognition:
Similar to Issidae, with no spines on hind tibiae (unlike Issidae), brown in color.
