Here I will be posting photos of primary type specimens that I have examined and photographed to any reason.  I will post them under their original combination, but annotate the current combination when different.

Tetrasteira minuta Muir, 1926 from Brazil.

Specimen data:  “Belem, Para/June, 1924 // F. X. Williams/Collector”.  It is a male and at the BPBM.  The genitalia are dissected and embedded in balsam.

Nogodinidae

Here is the type specimen of Flata reticulata Fabricius, 1803, courtesy of  Niels P. Kristensen, Natural History Museum of Denmark, University of Copenhagen.  This is the type species of the genus Nogodina, which is, of course, the type genus of the family Nogodinidae.  The two lower labels are in the handwriting of Ms E. Zimsen, author of the 1964 book 'The Type Material of I. C. Fabricius'.
