Here I will be posting photos of primary type specimens that I have examined and photographed to any reason. I will post them under their original combination, but annotate the current combination when different.
In addition to the photos posted below, I have some images of primary types of dictyopharids posted here. These are posted on a separate page singe my list of primary type photos is beginning to become long.
Chloriona nigrifrons Van Duzee, 1909. Photos courtesy of Norm Penny, California Academy of Sciences Natural History Museum. This taxon does not belong in Chloriona. I believe I know what it really is - I'll publish on it when I am sure.

Delphacodes banosensis (Ecuador)

Delphacodes dolosa Muir, 1926 (Now Syndelphax)

Delphacodes gluciophila (Ecuador)

Delphacodes fallax Muir, 1926 (now Syndelphax)

Euidella grossa Van Duzee, 1933 (Now in Euides). Photos courtesy of Norm Penny, California Academy of Sciences Natural History Museum.

Kormus californicus Crawford, 1914; photos courtesy of Norm Penny, California Academy of Sciences Natural History Museum.

Holotype of Pentagramma cosquina Penner, 1952 (at Cornell University)

Type specimen of Pseudomacrocorupha wagneri Muir, 1930 (Delphacidae) from Argentina. Photos courtesy of Gunvi Lindberg, Swedish Museum of Natural History (where the specimen resides).

A figure with additional views, including a photo of the label information, are here. The specimen is a male, but apparently the genitalia are overcleared and their structure is no longer discernible.
Syndelphax pero Fennah, 1971 (Currently Metadelphax pero).

Additional views from Gonzon and Bartlett (2008) are here:
Tetrasteira minuta Muir, 1926 from Brazil.

Specimen data: “Belem, Para/June, 1924 // F. X. Williams/Collector”. It is a male and at the BPBM. The genitalia are dissected and embedded in balsam.
A figure for an upcoming manuscript with several views is here.
Toya goliai Gonzon and Bartlett 2008.

Additional views from Gonzon and Bartlett (2008) are here:
Other planthoppers (not delphacids)
Nogodinidae
Here is the type specimen of Flata reticulata Fabricius, 1803, courtesy of Niels P. Kristensen, Natural History Museum of Denmark, University of Copenhagen. This is the type species of the genus Nogodina, which is, of course, the type genus of the family Nogodinidae. The two lower labels are in the handwriting of Ms E. Zimsen, author of the 1964 book 'The Type Material of I. C. Fabricius'.

Fulgoridae
Amycle saxatilis Van Duzee, 1914. Lectotype specimen (from California) at the California Academy of Sciences, photograph courtesy of Norm Penny.

I will post more images of type specimens as time allows.
