Distribution: Neotropical.

Type species (in original combination): Plesiodelphax guayanus Asche, 1985.

There are 2 species currently placed in this genus.

Hosts: None reported.  Possibly on Heliconia as reported for Burnilia.

Economic Importance: Limited - all species poorly known. 

Recognition

This genus described and segregated from Burnilia by Asche (1985b).  A rare taxon, essentially unknown to me.
