Distribution: Northern Holarctic.

Type species: Liburnia dimidiatifrons Kusnezov, 1929

Recognized species

Only five species are in this genus, as follows:

Kusnezoviella antinoma Emeljanov, 1973 - Mongolia
Kusnezoviella chalchica Emeljanov, 1973 - Mongolia
Kusnezoviella dimidiatifrons (Kusnezov, 1929) - Turkestan, Mongolia, Russia (Altai Mtns)
Kusnezoviella euagropyri Emeljanov, 1964) - Kazakhstan
Kusnezoviella macleani Wilson, 1988 - USA: Alaska

Recorded Hosts:

Kusnezoviella antinoma is reported from Elymus sp. (a grass, Poaceae) (Wilson et al. 2004).

Kusnezoviella chalchica is reported from Hordeum sp. (a grass, Poaceae) (Wilson et al. 2004).

Kusnezoviella dimidiatifrons is reported from Agropyron pseudagropyrum (a grass, Poaceae) (Wilson et al. 2004).

Economic Importance: Probably limited.

Keys to genus in Wilson (1988) (Alaska), and Anufriev and Emeljanov (1988) (Palearctic).
