Economic Importance: Limited in the US, but Acanolonia conica introduced into Italy.
Recognition:
Similar to Issidae, with no spines on hind tibiae. Green or pink in color.

Undetermined (Mexico, Baha California South) - These are probably not Acanalonia, but I am not sure what they are. I have a series on loan from the William F. Barr collection.
Molecular resources: GenBank has data for Acanalonia bivitatta, A. depressa, A. vivada. Barcode of Life has sequence data for 1 undetermined Acanalonia.
