3) A brief (no more than two pages) proposal describing the internship research or education project.  This proposal must contain all of the following sections: (i) Project Title; (ii) Name of Student and Advisor; (iii) Project Justification (nature of research area, why research is needed); (iv) Project Objectives; and (v) Methods (brief description of approach to be followed). NOTE: An electronic version of the proposal, prepared in MS Word, must also be e-mailed to Dr. Tom Sims, DWRC Director (jtsims@udel.edu).

 

I understand that if selected for a DWRC water internship I will expect to work sufficient hours during fall semester, winter session, and into spring semester through February 28th, 2006, to complete my project; to report my progress and concerns to the DWRC as needed; to submit my final project report by March 31, 2006; to present findings in a poster session in April, 2006; and to be paid for hours worked up to a maximum of 350 hours or $3500 (interns are compensated at $10 per hour worked).
