Mission Statement of Bioresourses Engineering Department

• The Mission of the department is to: Provide an undergraduate academic program in Engineering Technology that will prepare the students for leadership positions in the technical areas of society.
  
•  Provide graduate study opportunities in Operations Research and through joint appointments in other departments that will address the interdisciplinary issues requiring bioresources engineering expertise.  
  
• Provide research and extension programs for the Delmarva area that will contribute to improving the level of agricultural production, promoting efficient use of resources devoted to production and processing of agricultural products, and improving the quality of our environment.
