Become an Ag Ambassador
“We are a group of student volunteers who help promote the College by participating in recruitment events, meeting with prospective students and their parents, giving tours, and visiting high schools in the region.”
Ag Ambassadors are enthusiastic students who volunteer to:
- Talk about the College
- Talk about their majors
- Help increase the size of our Ag Family
- Chat with prospective students and their families during recruitment activities and one-on-one interviews
- Give tours of the College of Agriculture & Natural Resources
- Assist with special events
What are the benefits of being an Ag Ambassador?
- Build your communication skills
- Meet new people
- Make new friends
- Gain the knowledge that you’ve helped prospective students make their college choice
What are the selection criteria for becoming an Ag Ambassador?
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Freshman or sophomore status
- Well-written and detailed application
- Successful interview, during which friendliness, commitment, and communication are assessed
