I really enjoyed my FABM classes with Dr. Toensmeyer. Specifically, I enjoyed meeting the guest speakers in Strategic Selling and Buyer Communication and giving professional marketing presentations.
Tell us about your current position or program of study and what led you to that field.
I currently work for the Office of Communications at the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC. Some of my daily responsibilities include: agency-wide news clipping, compiling agency reports for the White House, media pitching, and preparing briefing materials for the Secretary.
How did your College of Ag experiences prepare you for your current job or post-graduate education?
During my time at UD, I learned a lot about agricultural communications and wanted to continue my experience on the national level. My experiences at CANR really shaped my career path.
