What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR)?
I like that it feels like home. Everyone here is so welcoming and is willing to help you with anything. The staff here wants to see us succeed and they’re willing to help point us in the right direction. They’re here to make sure were on the right path to achieving our goals.
What is your most memorable CANR or UD experience?
My most memorable CANR experience is when a calf licked me. Back home there are no farm animals near me, just cats, dogs and the occasional horse. So coming here and seeing cows and sheep was an eye-opening experience. The first time I was licked, I was hooked on cows/calves. Now I see them as the cutest things in the world!
Everyone here is so welcoming and is willing to help you with anything.
What are your career goals?
As of right now, I want to become a veterinarian but I am keeping my options open. You never know what life has in store for you; just have to go with it.
What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?
As a child, I used to do gymnastics.
What is your favorite book, movie, or song?
My favorite movie is Crazy, Stupid, Love. I am a sucker for romantic comedies.
