What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR)?

I love that it can be so tight-knit and supportive but also have so many resources and networking opportunities!  All of the professors are so willing to help and genuinely want you to learn about something they all love!

What is your most memorable CANR or UD experience?

I was super overwhelmed when I got to UD as a transfer student, but right before school started we had a big convocation with Dean Rieger down in Townsend and all the incoming CANR students.  I saw so many people I’d met other places, and the faculty all introduced themselves to us.  It was really reassuring and helped me to feel like I wasn’t in such a huge pond after all!

What are your career goals?

All of the professors are so willing to help and genuinely want you to learn about something they all love!

I am working really hard toward my goal of getting into vet school and obtaining my DVM!  I would really like to specialize in Oncology or Physical Rehabilitation and then go back to practice in my home state working with local farmers and families and really give back to my community!

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

During a Katy Perry concert a few summers ago, I took pictures with several people who thought I was Katy! (I did set them straight eventually!)

What is your favorite book, movie, or song?

Oh man, my favorite book is either The Great Gatsby or The Fountainhead.  The best movie ever is Bowfinger, and my favorite song is Love on Top!
