What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR)?
My favorite part about the college is that there’s a farm right on campus. Already within my first year I’ve gotten so much experience with the animals, and I’ve learned a ton. I found the information especially helpful since I had no previous experience with larger animals. I also love the smaller size of the college because I can actually get to know the students and faculty within it.

What is your most memorable CANR or UD experience?
My most memorable CANR experience was getting to take care of my assigned calf all throughout my first semester as part of the honors section of my Animal Science class. For the class, I went to the farm every week to feed, measure, and groom the calf. Not only did I get a great deal of hands-on experience, but I also learned a lot about dairy management.

What are your career goals?
Although I am open to many things, I hope to one day become a companion animal veterinarian.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?
I love to run, especially cross country.

What is your favorite book, movie, or song?
My favorite book is “The Giver” by Lois Lowry.
