What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?
I love the opportunities that the college provides. The amount of resources we have access to is staggering and all due to the efforts of students and teachers from years past. Among these resources you will find the fully functioning farm located on campus, a luxury most large colleges do not have.

What is your most memorable Ag or UD experience?
My most memorable experience with the College of Agriculture was getting to work as a tour guide this past spring at Ag Day 2013. I rode on the tractor drawn tours of the farm explaining to families what our school is all about. It was truly a great experience to share my love for the college with other families, as well as getting to see all of the great things the school has to offer. I got to see a sheep shearing lesson, learn about beekeeping, and countless other amazing experiences.

Animal and Food Sciences fascinates me and I can’t imagine being happy doing anything else. I’m considering nutrition research or possibly a job with the USDA.

What are your career goals?
At the moment I don’t have very solid plans. However, I am completely sure that I will be going into something in my field of study. Animal and Food Sciences fascinates me and I can’t imagine being happy doing anything else. I’m considering nutrition research or possibly a job with the USDA.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?
My entire family lives in Maryland; and not just my immediate family, both my dad’s entire side of the family as well as my mom’s. Both sides have also been there since the Civil War too. We have records showing family living down on the east coast of Maryland and out in western Maryland from as early as the 1700’s.

What is your favorite book, movie or song?
My favorite song is Natural Disaster by Zac Brown Band.
