What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR)?
Being in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources allows you to get a small college feel in a University setting. I enjoy being close with people in my major and being able to recognize faces in all my classes. Pre-Vet is a small major and my fellow peers and I stick together in order to survive the hard but rewarding classes! All the professors are great and really care about your success.
I would love to work with exotics at Animal Kingdom in Disney World.
What is your most memorable CANR or UD experience?
I love all my time spent on the farm. The hands on experience is really memorable and fun! My favorite lab was probably the dairy cattle lab where we got to milk cows!
What are your career goals?
I want to go to vet school and become a DVM! Ideally I would love to work with exotics at Animal Kingdom in Disney World but will probably end up doing small animals in a private practice.
What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?
I transferred to UD as a Sophomore. I was a Pharmacy major at my old school. I hated it and decided to follow my childhood dream of becoming a vet. It was the best choice I ever made!
What is your favorite book, movie, or song?
I love any books by Nicholas Sparks. I have many favorite movies such as Blue Crush, Titanic, UP!, and Savages. I listen to a lot of country music and have so many favorite songs! I really love the artists Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Eric Church and Florida Georgia Line.
