What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?
Although the university as a whole is large, the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is a perfectly sized community that makes you feel like you are part of a family.  The classes here are interactive and fun, but still challenging.  The teachers are very knowledgeable, friendly, and know you by name.  The clubs associated with the college do some really cool events and it is so easy to get involved in events happening at the college. Also, the campus is beautiful, especially with all the flowers that are blooming in the spring.

What is your most memorable Ag or UD experience?
I really enjoyed working with the animals in the Animal Science Laboratory.  It was great to be able to do things I had never done before.  For instance, I wrestled with sheep in order to trim their hooves and milked some of UD's cows.  The hands-on experience really helped to make this class so memorable for me.

What are your career goals?
After graduate school, I hope to work in the poultry industry; either on the business side with marketing or the animal science side doing research with poultry.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?
I grew up on a farm where we have cows, chickens, and horses. I love to show the chickens that I raise at fairs and teach the public about these incredible animals.

What is your favorite book, movie, or song?

I like a wide variety of books, movies, and songs, so I don't really have any particular favorites.  Some movies I enjoy include the Abbot and Costello collection and BBC's Sherlock.  I like to listen to movie or musical soundtracks such as Jekyll and Hyde: The Musical. I also favor animal and adventure books like The Tiger's Curse Series by Colleen Houck.
