What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?
I love the community in the College of Ag! Because it is smaller, I get to know the people in my classes as well as my professors. My advisor is always informing me of opportunities for summer internships, research, and study abroad. I love that I am not just a number, but a member of such a wonderful community.
What is your most memorable Ag or UD experience?
During Winter Session 2012, I studied abroad in Dominica through the College. I had the opportunity to go abroad for the first time and experience something new each day - hiking mountains, snorkeling, and drinking out of a coconut were just a few memorable moments. We applied what Dr. Hastings and Dr. Seraphin were teaching us to Dominica specifically. The community of UD students on the trip was great - the Ag school truly is a family.
What are your career goals?
I would like to work for a government agency one day, such as the EPA or DNREC. I am interested in both policy-making in relation to renewable resources and doing research.
What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?
I have a pair of socks for each House in Hogwarts, and I wear Ravenclaw whenever I have an exam.
What is your favorite book, movie, or song?
I love all music by Fleetwood Mac!
