What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?
One of the things I like the most about the UD College of Ag is that we have the farm right on campus. As a Food Science major I don't work very closely with the animals (though I did in Animal Science Lab freshman year), but it is always fun to visit the cows and see the reactions of non-agriculture students! Also, I like how we are a close-knit college within the larger University. It feels like we make up our own community.
What is your most memorable Ag or UD experience?
I have had so many memorable Ag experiences, it would be hard to pick just one. From Animal Science 111 Lab, to Food Science Club events, Ag Day, or even just visiting the Creamery, there is always something fun going on!
What are your career goals?
My career goal is to work as a food scientist, either in a research and development or quality control related area.
What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?
An interesting fact about me is that I love going to the beach. My family has been visiting the same town every summer for the last ten years, and I enjoy waking up to run early, walking along the water during low tide to look for sea glass, and then swimming in the ocean in the afternoon!
What is your favorite book, movie, or song?
I like to read so I have a lot of favorite books, but two of them are A Wrinkle in Time and Once a Runner.
