What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?
I love how the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is its own community. Because we are located on South Campus we are a close-knit group of students and faculty. The faculty is extremely friendly and approachable. I also love that the campus farm is only a few minutes from Townsend Hall. Easy access is one of the best parts about the farm and the college.
What is your most memorable Ag or UD experience?
My most memorable UD experiences have simply been studying and socializing in the Townsend Commons. It may not sound special but just having a special place to gather with friends and study the subjects we love is great!
What are your career goals?
I plan to graduate from UD double majoring in Agriculture Education and Animal and Food Sciences with a minor in Food and Agribusiness Marketing and Management. I hope to secure a job teaching high school Agriculture. My ultimate goal is to open and run a therapeutic riding and animal therapy ranch for mentally and physically handicapped members of our community. I hope to continue rescuing animals, rehabilitate them and use them for the rehabilitation of people!
What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?
I love wearing baseball caps (especially camo ones!). I wear a hat probably 80% of the time!! My camo John Deere one is my favorite!
What is your favorite book, movie, or song?
My favorite book is anything by the author Catherine Anderson. She is an amazing author!
