What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

UD CANR has several connections with outside organizations and offers a lot of opportunities to get involved within the community and become a leader as an undergraduate student. Since the college is fairly small, it is easy to get to know your professors and fellow students. I also love that we have a farm on campus and that the classes are very hands-on, providing students with a lot of experience right off the bat.

What is your most memorable Ag or UD experience?
During my first semester at UD, I had the opportunity to raise a calf in my honors animal science class. This was definitely my most memorable Ag experience because before this, I had never really been around cows and had to attempt to walk a calf around the field on a halter each week. It was difficult and sometimes pretty messy, but it was really fun and helped me decide that I made the right choice coming to UD.

What are your career goals?
I hope to become a companion animal veterinarian.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?
I play the banjo.

What is your favorite book, movie, or song?
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
