What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?
I like that the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is like its own little family within our large, amazing university. The students and faculty of our college are very friendly with one another and they get to know each other very well.
What is your most memorable Ag or UD experience?
My most memorable Ag experience was in my Honors Section of Introduction to Animal Science when my hutch calf, Piper, jumped out of her feeding door and was running around in the field. My lab partner, Jessica Palmer, and I were shocked that she fit through the window. However, it was very funny once we caught her (with the help of our instructor, Laura Nemec) and we were sure to be a lot more careful when feeding her throughout the rest of the semester.
What are your career goals?
I have two possible career goals. I have always wanted to be a veterinarian and hopefully open my own practice for small animals. However my ultimate dream career is to be a veterinarian at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World.
What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?
My middle name is my little brother's first name. My little brother's middle name is my older brother's first name. My older brother's middle name is my dad's first name. When I was little I was upset that no one had my first name as their middle name so my dog's name is Bear Dominic Scaffa.
What is your favorite book, movie, or song?
My favorite song is Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Green Day.
