What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?
My favorite thing about the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is how much of a community within UD it really is. I love that the professors and faculty work closely with the students, and there are always opportunities to learn and work with the staff in the classroom, on the farm on in a lab. The community is so great because the people in it (students and staff) are all friendly.
What is your most memorable Ag or UD experience?
My most memorable experience was in my honors section of ANFS101. My class was able to help raise the new calves in the dairy herd. We learned how to take care of them, and we also got to play with them. Watching the calves run around the pasture was really a great experience!
What are your career goals?
I am interested in becoming a veterinarian for either large animals or exotic animals/wildlife. I have a soft spot for cows!
What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?
I own more tie-dye than anyone I know! Probably around 21-25 shirts combined at my house and at school. I love the color patterns and they're fun to make.
What is your favorite book, movie, or song?
My favorite book is Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. (It's also my favorite movie.) Krakauer's message is powerful and inspiring.
