Student
Organizations
Group
of volunteer students who promote the college by attending
recruitment events, meeting with prospective students
and their families, giving tours, visiting high schools,
and assisting with public events.
Coordinates the activities of the College’s clubs
and serves as the student-government organization.
Promotes brotherhood and scholarship among its members,
which include men from every major in the College.
Fosters scholarship, leadership, character and fellowship,
while promoting agriculture. Membership is honorary, and
invitations go to sophomores in the upper 40% of the class.
Focuses on the many facets of animal agriculture. The
club has members from many majors.
Provides support to the Delaware 4-H program through leadership training, support for 4-H events on campus, and judges for activities. Collegiate members become role models for 4-H members and provide a connection to higher education and potential careers. Club members enjoy social activities and community service projects throughout the year. Collegiate 4-H is open to any UD student; previous 4-H experience is not required.
Develops agricultural leadership and promotes an awareness
of the global importance of agriculture. All students
in the College are welcome to join.
The Equestrian Team is considered a University of Delaware club sport. The club develops and enhances members’ equestrian abilities.
Students from across campus make up the team, and all
levels of riders are welcome.
Exposes students to career opportunities and to the Institute
of Food Technologists.
Helps students learn about and enjoy ornamental plants,
gardens, and related topics.
Promotes excellence in agrimarketing and welcomes students
from all majors.
Works to help promote women in agriculture and natural
resources.
Provides education about wildlife conservation; introduces
career opportunities; and participates in volunteer services
and fund-raisers. All students are welcome.
