Open Doors

We welcome visitors to our College during the school year.  There are a variety of ways you can get to know us better; see the list below to find the choice that is right for you!

Individual Visits

Guests can meet with the Assistant Dean for Student Services, talk with faculty, and have a personal tour of the College with our Ag Ambassadors.  Some prospects like to sit in on classes and spend a day with a current student.  Most incorporate a campus tour into their visit.  For more information, just give us a call.  These visits are limited to weekdays, September - May, and we ask that you give us at least 5 days' notice

Email Chats

Our students are more than willing to chat with you on-line about their experiences at UD and in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.  If you would like to talk with someone, please send email to kra@udel.edu with your name, Email address, and area of interest.  One of our students will get back to you within a few days.

Blue and Golden Saturdays

Blue & Golden Saturdays, our campus-wide open houses for prospective students and their families, take place 3 Saturdays in the fall.  These special days are an opportunity to experience the University of Delaware during the golden months of autumn while taking advantage of the harvest of information our faculty, staff, and students will provide.   Whether this will be you first visit to Delaware or your fifth, you can attend whatever sessions interest you, creating a day that is the most meaningful to you.  Our program includes campus tours, residence hall visits, and information sessions on:

• Academic Programs (presented by faculty and staff in the Colleges)
• Admissions
• Financial Aid
• The Honors Program
• Student Services and Student Life

Invitations to attend Blue & Golden Saturdays will be mailed in September to all high school seniors on the Admissions Office mailing list.
